How a Udaipur-based premium marble exporter built a direct buyer pipeline into Vietnam — bypassing agents, brokers, and trade-fair dependency — through targeted Facebook ads and WhatsApp conversion.
Rajsthan Marbles is a premium marble exporter based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, supplying directly from mines — no middlemen. Product range includes seven+ varieties: Corona Jalor White, Norsa Green, Rosi Pink, Sinduri Barek Dane, Chima Pink, Rumlik Black, and Koliwada Blue.
The brand already had the product, the pricing, and the supply chain. What it didn't have was a direct line to overseas buyers. Business depended on trade fairs, broker networks, and personal referrals — slow, intermediated, and margin-eroding.
For most Indian marble exporters, the overseas buyer pipeline looks the same: fly to Vietnam, book a stall at a building-materials fair, hand out business cards, then wait weeks for someone to follow up through WhatsApp. The ones who don't do fairs rely on export agents who take 15–25% of the order value and own the buyer relationship.
The brand wanted to flip that model: direct contact with Vietnamese builders, importers, and architects — no agents in between, inquiries landing straight on the owner's WhatsApp.
Vietnam-only targeting from day one. ₹10,000/month budget — small by Indian B2B standards, deliberately small for a test-and-scale approach. Mobile-first creative (1200×1200px, optimized for how Vietnamese buyers actually see Facebook: on their phones, between site visits).
The campaign didn't treat "Vietnamese building industry" as one audience. Budget split three ways:
Vietnamese buyers already know Indian marble is cheaper and higher quality than their local sandstone alternatives. What they don't know is who to trust. Every ad led with the same signal: direct-from-mine supply, bulk shipment capability, variety range visible upfront. No "Contact us for a quote" friction.
Primary CTA on every ad was a WhatsApp button, not a lead form. Vietnamese B2B buyers prefer WhatsApp (and Zalo) — a form submission would have been a conversion-rate killer. The owner handled first-touch conversations personally, in English, with photos and pricing sent live.
Qualified WhatsApp inquiries from Vietnamese builders, importers, and architects — direct to the owner, bypassing agents and trade-fair intermediaries entirely.
Business attributed to the campaign since launch (January 2026). Combined container orders and ongoing supply relationships originated through WhatsApp conversations that started as Facebook ad clicks.
The structural win isn't the lead count — it's the channel. Every inquiry lands on the owner's WhatsApp. No export agent takes 15–25% off the top. Buyer relationships compound as repeat orders, not as commissions paid out.
